If you loved Academy Award Winner Denzel Washington in the 2014 action thriller The Equalizer, then you are going to be ecstatic to see the Columbia Pictures sequel, The Equalizer 2, arriving in theaters July 20, 2018.
Denzel reprises his role as Robert McCall, a former operative just trying to live out his life in peace, this time as a Lyft driver. But can’t sit still when he sees good people being taking advantage of. Even more so when the one being hurt is someone he cares about.
So he steps in to seek his own kind of justice against criminals inflicting harm against those who cannot defend themselves.
The Equalizer 2 was directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Richard Wenk . The film, unrated to date, also stars Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders, with Bill Pullman and Melissa Leo.
