TV One Premieres Christmas Dilemma On Sunday

The cast of TV One’s made for TV holiday movie, Christmas Dilemma caught up in holiday family chaos.

With the pandemic raging on and many of us are still stuck inside, we need a little joy and laughter to break up the monotony. You will get just that  when TV One premiere its latest holiday made for TV movie, Christmas Dilemma, Sunday, December 6 at 7p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT.

Essence Atkins, best known for acting roles in TV One films Girlfriends Getaway and Coins For Christmas, and the UPN sit-com Half & Half, makes her directorial debut with this original film about all the things that happen when family gathers for special occasions.

Atkins said, “I am blessed to have the opportunity to collaborate with TV One once again to direct my first movie and  I am immeasurably grateful for the opportunity to helm a film that I can declare I’m proud of. This entire experience has taught me so much and was a true delight.”

Christmas Dilemma stars BJ Britt (Being Mary Jane, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Brittany Hall (Ballers, Satisfaction), Carl Anthony Payne (Martin, 5th Ward) and Christopher B. Duncan (Black Lightning, The Jamie Foxx Show).

Christmas Dilemma is the story of newlyweds Jay (Britt) and Monica (Hall) who are faced with a tough decision. They have a hard time trying to pick whose family to invite to their first Christmas together as husband and wife. When they can’t make an outright decision between them which set of in-laws gets to come and which one does not get an invitation, family from both sides show up on their own. Then the chaos, and drama, drama of two worlds colliding in the form of family ensues. Long lost relatives, grandma with her care taker who happens to be Jay’s hot ex-girlfriend and other colorful family members pop in.
